Questions restaurants ask
Do my customers need to download an app?
No. They text your number the same way they text a friend. It works on any phone, including one that cannot install apps, and there is nothing for them to sign up for.
Do you take a commission on each order?
No. Kromigo is a flat monthly price with an included order allowance, so a busy month does not quietly become a bigger bill. Delivery marketplaces typically charge 15-30% on delivery and 6-10% on pickup; we charge neither.
Will it invent menu items or make up a price?
It cannot. Every price and total is calculated by our server from your actual menu, not written by the AI. If a customer asks for something you do not sell, the assistant says so rather than guessing.
What happens if the assistant does not know the answer?
It says it is not sure and points the customer to your phone number, instead of inventing an answer. You can add your own FAQs - allergens, parking, delivery area - and it will use those.
What if we are closed, or we run out of something?
Outside your opening hours, customers get a friendly note with when you reopen. If you run out of an item, a topping, or one size of a pizza, you switch it off in the dashboard and the assistant stops offering it immediately.
Who sets up the menu?
We do. Send us your menu in whatever form you have it - a PDF, a photo, a link - and we load it for you, including sizes, toppings, and combo deals. You are not left building a menu tree on your own.
Is my customers' information safe?
Message content is encrypted in our database, so it is unreadable to anyone with database access, including us. Customer phone numbers are never sent to the AI provider, and we configure the provider so conversations are not retained or used for training.
